About Us

About Us

4P Press Games and Models is an independent publisher of table top games (primarily, but not limited to, wargames and the like) and easy to print and sturdy to the touch 3D models in the STL format.

We officially came into being on January 1, 2025, but unofficially our age is too embarrassing to say. Our first publication was the First World War aerial game, Archibald, Certainly Not!, and today we offer well over 200 products for your gaming pleasure.

Quirk is Our Kink

4P loves innovation and looking at things from different angles. That said, there really is nothing new under the sun, so not everything we do is New and Improved, but we are always open for the New and Quirky.

The 4P Press Team

Patricia Phillips CEO of the 4P Press Empire
That's me, actually. I've been designing games seriously since I was in my early teens and was quite easily the weirdest girl in the neighborhood. I think I still hold that distinction.
I write most of the rules, although they include really nice bits from the rest of the team as well.
My other duties include designing the covers for our games, managing PR, and pestering our 3D designer, Chris, for models to add to our range.
I've been gaming since I was a pre-teen and I invented wargaming at about the age of 11 or 12, or so I thought. It wasn't until I was 13 that I found a Donald Featherstone book in the school library and realized others had beaten me to it.
I also like to point out my autism and ADHD. I do so in support of others who are similarly afflicted and want to show them how I personally deal with. Turning afflictions into Superpowers is what I'm about, and it really does explain why my unit lists are 90 pages.
Mental health is as important as the physical version, and I urge anyone who feels uncomfortably goofy at times to visit a mental healthcare professional and see if you too might be a member of the club. If so, there's ways to help you navigate the neurotypical world and if you ask, I'll design a membership card just for you.

Chris Ferree, 3D Designer, Rules Writer, Giver of Hope
Chris is our ringer, the person who classes up the joint. Chris has had a long and storied career in wargaming, and though the little fella is too young to have hung out with the likes of Charles Grant and Tony Bath, he is a well respected gamer of the following generation and one whom we are so very proud to have amongst our ranks.
Hardworking doesn't even come close to describing Chris' work ethic. Along with his amazing ability to produce lovely models, Chris is also a rules writer of the first degree and has published many sets of the most diverse subjects.
Chris is not only wonderful at 3d and game design, he is also a wonderful person and a trusted friend.

You can follow Chris' exploits on his personal blog.

Patrick Phillips, All Around Goofball
Patrick is my twin brother- yes, our darling mother thought Patrick and Patricia would be just so cute, bleh!- and has now entered a semi-retirement from 4P. In his heyday he was our proofreader, playtester and bouncer off of ideas-er. Since his disastrous proofreading in Naval Mania, Patrick has decided to participate in 4P in a non-participatory capacity. Nonetheless, as one of the original Ps of 4P (Patrick, Patricia, Phil and Paul), Patrick is forever on our books, and is still my darling brother and my go to person for all things math.

Adrian Phillips, Brilliant Artist
Adrian is our resident artist and responsible for the cover of our Grand Prix Glory game, as well as the occasional illustration. Not only is he a super artist, he is also my son. As one can see, nepotism runs rampant at 4P Press.

Our Friends and Patrons
We love feedback, we love ideas and we listen to the people who make our endeavor worthwhile. You are always welcome to contact us with any questions (keep it clean) and ideas for future products. We are especially keen to hear what STL files you'd like us to produce. We also love game ideas, and mostly we love you.

Our Values

I won't make any bones about it; if you are racist, homophobic, transphobic, a TERF, MAGA, misogynist or any other of those nasty things, please go away now. Even if you like our games, you won't like us and we most certainly don't like you.
However, if you are none of the above and revel in the diversity of the human experience and wish for all to share equally the same human rights, then please stay, we love you and we want to be your friend.

About AI, screw it and its data centers. We at 4P have a resident artist, and I as cover designer never use AI to produce my work. Where's the fun in that? My weapon of choice is Canva, but without the hideous AI tools. Yuck.
We also prefer to write our rules ourselves, using homegrown intelligence rather than buying it at the shop.

Thank you everyone, we hope you enjoy our games!
